Little Yellow Caravan

Today we woke up in our lovely little yellow caravan and had a good chat with my parents. My dad is coming out on Sunday 10th! I think he is quite excited. We then left to go and see a little market in town via a brief beach walk. Then we did some food shopping for the next 5 days. We're going to have to be a bit more frugal after NYE. But it's so easy when you're driving about on your own.

We then returned to the caravan for a big planning session at the war table. We reckon we've pretty much got the South Island sussed. Before we knew it, it was 5pm and time to have a little walk at Takapuna beach, this time near the little rocks. The rocks are about knee height so we had a fun walk over them. Takapuna is beautiful and calm and such a great place to do jobs. It's been quite relaxing.

Tomorrow we are getting picked up by the airport shuttle bus who is dropping us at our car rental place 1km from the airport. North Island; we're coming for ya.
